start of a new kind of series?
We all know them: vampires, werewolves, angels, fairies and even a whole bunch of other supernatural Beings. They are all in today's literature is hard to imagine yet, so it is more difficult to invent a new story for the author that the previously published novels is like not possible. Still fall unfortunately far too many books in the old scheme.
A lively youth
The first book in the series begins to Zara who is on her way to her grandmother. Her step-father died recently and that has the girl so thrown off course that it was almost dead inside. So it was that Zara went to the mother of her step-father, because her own mother did not know what else to do anymore. But behind these acts was hiding more than it initially appears had.
New city, new school. Zara was the new and hated it. But fortunately, the girl was from the beginning to good friends. Among them were Issy, Devyn, and the handsome but arrogant and acting Nick. He was the typical pretty boy, and Zara was not the only girl who found him attractive. But there were things that were important. And at the airport, as Zara was on her way to her grandmother, she noticed a man dressed in black, and now he stood in front of the school and pointed his finger directly at Zara. It was scary and caused a bad feeling from within it. The others have noticed it and thus creating a link between the residents and the puzzling Disappearance of a boy. Several years ago young men vanished and never appeared again. Back then Zara's parents had moved away from this area, but now seemed to be repeating everything. It was not long until his friends came across an explanation that sounded very banal. Elves should be the cause of the mysterious happenings and Werwesen only were their natural enemy. Zara did not believe it at first, but now everything seemed so much more logical. But why the elves were just behind her? Her mother had sent directly into the lion's den, and so it happened that the girl one evening on the edge of the forest heard a voice calling her name. She was not allowed to drive , Give in but she had to follow it easily. Zara told himself not to be afraid and they finally wanted to know why she was involved in the matter. Nick was bumped from her in the woods and although she had promised him she would follow him now.
The voice had misled Zara and Nick had disappeared from the earth. But the howl of a wolf it the right direction had been out of the woods. Now the girl was just standing there so and waited for Nick showed up again, but instead groped the wolf to meet her. Put an arrow in his shoulder and although Zara was scared and has never been a huge wolf had seen, she had to help him yet. After all, he had been, who had led them out of the woods. But she hid behind the animal more than you would see with the naked eye could.
Cover
Whispering Gold has a nice and easy-held cover that perfectly fits the story. It can not be overstated or cheesy, so I like very much.
Conclusion Although the book is similar in many respects, so far so popular fantasy novels, but I think its great that the little romance between the teenagers is not as childish as you read it often. Zara is also a character who scores with his very courteous and I like especially, because this is new and fits but very well here. The many different kinds of mystical beings spice up the story again on a lot and so the novel can still be seen. I'm looking forward to the sequel.
Irie Rasta Sistren thanks cbt much for providing this book.
